Friends of Brenner
Friends now has more than 900 members and organizes events such as the Festival of Trees, Cheers! A toast to children’s health, the Celebrity Golf Classic and a radiothon.

The second, 99.5 WMAG-FM, two-day radiothon to benefit Brenner Children’s Hospital was December 8 and 9.
On-air personalities Lora Songster, Jeff Cushman and Lizz Ryals lead the event, which was broadcast from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The funds raised will be used to advance patient care at Brenner. The event showcased the impact that Brenner has had on the lives of children and their families in the Triad and throughout the region, and honored the individuals and groups whose hard work throughout the year serves to improve the lives of all children.
This was 99.5 WMAG’s seventh radiothon on behalf of Brenner, having raised a combined total of nearly a half of million dollars.
