Friends of Brenner Children’s Hospital celebrates its 21^st anniversary this year.  An excerpt from the Brenner Children’s Hospital’s philosophy statement reads, “As a team, we are available to support, to assist and to comfort.”  Friends is a part of this team and we offer our support through fund raising and community awareness activities. 

Today we have over 900 volunteers whose dedication is unsurpassed.  I am proud to be a member of such an organized group of volunteers who truly make a difference in the lives of the patients at Brenner Children’s Hospital and their families.

If you are visiting these web pages for the first time or have been a Friend from the start, I am confident that you will find a volunteer opportunity to match your time, talents and skills.  Whether you have an hour a month or just a few hours a year, Friends’ needs you to decorate or fluff Christmas trees, bake cookies for a meeting, help with an event set up, chair an event, or make a speech.  Not only will you be helping the patients of Brenner Children’s Hospital but you will also have fun and make new friends in the process.

One of my favorite Brenner quotes sums up the Brenner Children’s Hospital Commitment: “To cure sometimes, to relieve often, to care always…”
