Committee Profiles

Festival of Trees

A family-oriented holiday event held annually in November which features a Christmas tree forest, unique gift shops for adults and children, children’s activities, holiday music and of course, Santa. Volunteers help in a variety of areas – helping in children’s activities, selling raffle tickets, fluffing trees, selling mini-trees and wreaths and a variety of other duties.

 

Celebrity Golf Classic

This annual event is held in early June at Tanglewood. Sports and entertainment celebrities are paired with other entrants. Volunteers help with registration, lunch, and on-course activities.

 

Cheers! A toast to children’s health

This spring event is held in April. The evening offers an opportunity for attendees to sample wines fromall over the world as well as the chance to taste food from our area’s finest restaurants. Volunteers help with set-up, decorating and more.


Radiothon
This annual event is held in February.  Volunteers answer phones and take pledge information.

Speakers Bureau

Training is provided for volunteers to speak to civic and business organizations about Brenner Children’s Hospital. An informational DVD is provided.

 

Special Projects

Volunteer for other Brenner fundraising events, address invitations, bake for meetings/events and other needs.
