Welcome to HOME POTTY TRAINING!

The goal of this website is to assist parents in properly toilet training their children. Of course, potty training happens very naturally for most children and their parents do not need any help. For some children, however, potty training leads to issues with wetting and constipation that are very easily dealt with if parents are given the proper information. We will first discuss the common problems facing the potty training child, and then review the proper treatment of these problems.

I want to stress that parents seeking the assistance of this website should do so only after seeing their pediatrician and/or pediatric urologist. This site is not meant to replace a visit to a physician, as a minority of children with potty training problems may have a serious medical condition requiring professional medical care. This site is simply a reference source for reviewing the recommendations already provided by a physician, and a link to the providers of products that may be needed to assist in proper potty training.
