Many people who exercise regularly say that they get all sorts of side benefits, besides the ones we've talked about. They sleep better, feel better about themselves. Exercise helps them fight off diseases and infections, like colds, and they recover faster.

As little as 30 minutes of moderate activity or 20 minutes of intense activity each day can be enough to give you all sorts of physical as well as psychological benefits. It's worth that small amount of time.
