NICU Clinics

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Brenner Children’s Hospital is one of the largest and most comprehensive intensive care nurseries in North Carolina. The NICU’s central location at Brenner ensures our patients have access to all the resources of Brenner’s extensive health care network, including pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses, lactation consultants, pastoral services and other support services.

Brenner’s NICU also operates the Special Infant Care Clinic. Located at Amos Cottage (3325 Silas Creek Parkway), the clinic is specially designed to provide long-term follow-up care for infants who were in a NICU. The multidisciplinary health professionals at our Special Infant Care Clinic monitor your child’s development carefully, including your child’s emotional and physical development, to make sure he or she is on track. Our experts can spot problems, if any, early and take steps to get each baby back on track.
