At Wake Forest University we have a created a section of Pediatric Medical Education dedicated to attuning our Pediatric Residency Program to the needs of each incoming resident. The faculty is committed to a goal of training and mentoring outstanding physicians in pediatric medicine who are ready for today's world. Brenner Children's Hospital is a state-of-the-art tertiary referral center where residents are exposed to a wide variety of admissions. Being a community-based pediatric referral center our residents enjoy a wide diversity of pathology and socioeconomic groups when caring for their patients. Completion of the program provides a diverse general pediatric background suitable for confident entry into private practice or fellowship training.
