Residency Application
The Pediatric Residency Program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is a participating member of the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). All applicants must register with the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) of the NRMP (http://www.nrmp.org). Only applications submitted through ERAS will be accepted. Hard copy applications submitted via mail, fax or electronic mail will NOT be accepted.
Application requirements:

- Three letters of recommendation
- USMLE Transcript
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
For Foreign Applicants:
- Graduation from a medical school not more than 2 years ago
- A score of at least 210 on Part I and II of the USMLE
- Our institution sponsors JI-Visa only
- Some clinical experience in the United States which can be evaluated by faculty preceptors.
These requirements are in place simply to assure that anyone entering this residency program has the background and ability to successfully complete his or her training. Completed files are reviewed and invitations to interview are extended through ERAS. Interviews are scheduled on Fridays beginning in early November and continuing through January.
If invited to interview, you will be able to stay at a hotel owned by our medical center for a discounted rate: The Hawthorne Inn. Please try to arrive in time to attend dinner with our residents the evening before your interview.
