- Pay Advance Program for Incoming Residents is available. The program allows the residents to request an advance in their contract salary up to $2,000.

- Children’s Choice Learning Center (CCLC)adjacent to the medical center. Child care is available to all employees, including residents, between the ages of 6 weeks to five years old. Hours of operation are 6:00am to 6:15pm, Monday—Friday.
- Resident Spouses Association (RSA)offers a wonderful opportunity for support and fellowship among resident’s and their spouses. They offer social activities, fundraisers, and assistance on moving to Winston Salem.
