fellowships in dermatological health services research

Fellows with the Center for Dermatology Research focus on health services and health outcome research emphasizing dermatologic issues. Work requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary research team. An opportunity exists for a qualified fellow to simultaneously pursuing graduate studies in epidemiology.

clinical and translational research fellowship

The Wake Forest University Department of Dermatology is currently not accepting applications for a 1-2 year clinical and translational research fellowship for 2008. Please check back later for availability in 2009.  The fellow will be involved in a wide variety of investigator-initiated clinical and translational research projects involving skin physiology and neurophysiology and treatment of pruritus in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, keloids, and other dermatologic and systemic diseases.

dermatopathology fellowships

We are currently offering a one-year dermatopathology fellowship to board-certified or board-eligible dermatologists or pathologists. One fellow is accepted each year during which time they will fulfill the requirements for the joint board of dermatopathology offered by the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Dermatology.

international fellows program

The international fellows program is a clinical educational program for international medical school graduates who are planning to pursue a career in the field of Dermatology. The program, led by Dr. Gil Yosipovitch, offers comprehensive clinical research experience tailored to the needs of the fellow. Working with internationally recognized clinicians, fellows will gain clinical skills that will serve them and their patients in the future.
