Specialists in general pediatrics and adolescent medicine at Brenner Children’s are developing and applying novel approaches to improve children’s health.
Examples include addressing violence prevention during well visits; studying social issues and health-risk behaviors that promote unhealthy habits in children and teens; teaching and evaluating the integration of complementary and alternative medicine therapies; and providing school and other community based health services to strengthen community resources and promote health advocacy.
