Pediatric Pulmonology
Pediatric pulmonologists offer a full range of clinical services and diagnostic assessments, including sleep studies, bronchoscopy, and complete pulmonary function and exercise testing. They study the efficacy of standard treatments to determine optimal therapies and medications for the treatment of children’s breathing disorders.
Brenner Children’s offers weekly specialty clinics for children with asthma, a multidisciplinary clinic for children with sleep disorders, and a nationally accredited adult and pediatric Cystic Fibrosis care and research center, where researchers are conducting a large multi-center project to improve quality of CF care. In addition, the section runs the only clinic for adults and children with mucus clearance disorders in the United States.
Members of the section serve on State and National professional boards, editorial boards of multiple medical journals, and a large number of research and clinical committees.
