Brenner FIT Clinic
The center of the Brenner FIT program is your family and the Brenner FIT Clinic, a multi-disciplinary team made up of a pediatrician, behavioral counselor, dietitian, physical therapist and nurse case manager. Brenner FIT families will visit the clinic for an initial two-hour consultation where the Brenner FIT Team will get to know your family, discuss the family’s health behaviors, and set goals for improvement. The initial clinic visit also includes a medical evaluation of your child by the pediatrician. Your family will visit the clinic a total of 14 sessions, requiring a full year commitment from families.
In addition to clinic time, your family will be connected to fun, interactive group classes, cooking classes, and numerous opportunities for physical activity in the community.
