Child Safety Tips

When summertime arrives it is important to teach your kids about child safety tips. Summer is the most dangerous season for kids. Ninety percent of injuries to children are preventable. Some people think that child safety tips are useless information, but in reality they could save someone’s life. That is why it is important to discuss child safety tips with all of your children.

One of the most popular child safety tips is to always wear a helmet when riding a bicycle, scooter, or skateboard. Never leaving children unattended near a pool, lake, or any other body of water also tops the list of important child safety tips. When you are traveling with small kids the law requires they be in a safety booster seat and/or wearing a seat belt. One of the lesser known child safety tips is to keep medicine and anything else that could poison a child locked up in a secure place.
