Ear Infections

Ear infections are inflammations of the middle ear. These ear inflammations often begin when infections that cause sore throats, colds, or other respiratory or breathing problems spread to the middle ear. Ear infections can be viral or bacterial infections.

 

Causes, Incidence, And Risk Factors of Ear Infections:

 

Ear infections can affect the internal ear (media) or the external ear (externa). Ear infections are classified according to whether it occurs suddenly and for a short time (acute) or if it occurs repeatedly or persistently over a long period of time (chronic).

 

Treatment of Ear Infections

 

Treatment for ear infections usually include antibiotics or other antimicrobials, depending on the suspected cause of the infection.
