Pediatric Cardiology

 

Brenner Children’s pediatric cardiology service helps children with various heart problems. Our pediatric cardiology center has treated thousands of children from western North Carolina, as well as parts of Virginia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. A part of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Brenner Children’s pediatric cardiology department treats patients from birth to age 18.

 

Brenner Children’s pediatric cardiology service provides a full-continuum of care with a pediatric emergency room, pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, infant, children, and adolescent inpatient units and outpatient clinics. In addition to these, the pediatric cardiology service also conducts outpatient, outreach clinics, in various counties across western North Carolina and southern Virginia.

 

Children admitted to the pediatric cardiology service suffer from a variety of serious heart conditions.
