Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

In order to help protect patients, family members and health care workers from the spread of COVID-19, no visitors are allowed at any of Wake Forest Baptist Health’s outpatient or inpatient facilities, except in certain situations.

At this time, Wake Forest Baptist Health is following state and national guidelines and is limiting COVID-19 testing in the outpatient setting to only patients ill enough to require admission to the hospital.

Winston-Salem from A to Z Book

A to Z Book Cover 256pxThis year there’s an exciting new gift idea for Winston-Salem area families, and it’s one where the shopping helps a great cause!

Brenner Children’s Hospital at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, in partnership with Books by Kids Foundation, has published a children’s book about the city of Winston-Salem. All net proceeds will benefit Brenner Children’s Hospital.

    The colorful illustrations were created by Brenner patients, and the book’s author is a local student, Paige McDowell.

As a creative project written and illustrated by children for children about historical figures, places and the history of Winston-Salem, Winston-Salem from A to Z will be a treasure for many years to come.
