In an emergency, whether for your child or even a stranger, one of the most important skills you can have is CPR. The following link provides access to CPR videos, printable handouts with pictures, and information on how you can be certified in the community:

Brenner Children’s Hospital also offers free CPR training to parents while their child is hospitalized. Though this is not a certification, you will learn the skills you need to have in an emergency. Contact your child’s nurse or a care coordinator to refer you to this program.
