This is an excellent medical practice and should be used as a model for others. I've seen a regular doctor as well as two others for an emergency staph infection. All doctors, med students and nurses were outstandingly helpful and inspired confidence.

  • 12/3/2017

I would recommend with the caveat, it will cost you at least a half day.

  • 11/5/2017

see prior comment, I'm thoroughly satisfied with my physician and her staff.. best physician I've ever had...

  • 10/16/2017

Dr. McMichael is the best. I would recommend her to anyone.

  • 10/10/2017

I've been going to Dr. McMichael annually for about 10 years. She is the consummate professional, as are her student physicians.

  • 10/10/2017

    As answered, very good.

  • 9/27/2017

Dr. Amy McMichael is an A++ doctor in my opinion. She explained my diseases so clearly even a child could understand. I have a lot of respect for her and I have full confidence in her abilities, and I hope I can see her again in the future. I did not know she is also the Chair of Wake Forest University Dermatology.

  • 9/26/2017

I LOVE Dr. McMichael. I look forward to every appointment I have with her. She's so knowledgeable and always puts my mind at ease when I have a question. I recommend her to all my friends, which is a double-edged sword. They wind up keeping her booked. Love this wonderful, intelligent, talented medical professional!!!! A+ ALL THE WAY!

  • 9/13/2017

Dr McMichael was wonderful--worth the long wait

  • 9/1/2017

Dr. McMichael is an excellent physician in every way. She is highly knowledgeable, interested in my well-being as a patient, skillful in communicating, patient, and thorough. • 8/19/2017

  • 8/14/2017

    Wouldn't go anywhere else!

  • 8/14/2017

Some of these questions are difficult to answer because the Dr, although very courteous and apparently knowledgeable, was in and iut of the room in less tgan five minutes. She seemed confident mine was a medication reaction.

  • 8/9/2017

I had a very good 1st visit with this provider. And, I was pleased with my visit!

  • 8/1/2017

  • 7/30/2017

I would not drive two hours and pay that much money for someone who was not really good.

  • 7/24/2017

Have a yearly appointment with Dr. McMichael. I had a biopsy done and was told what to expect in f/u care. I have always had great confidence in her, and her staff, and this has proven to be accurate.

  • 7/24/2017

    Great doctor-patient interaction.

  • 7/20/2017

I have referred a friend to her, but warned her of the very long wait time. I would like to understand why you wait so many hours and the doctor only spends "5 minutes" with you.

  • 7/14/2017

*Dr. McMichael is excellent. Very professional and takes time to explain what she needs you to do.

  • 6/27/2017

  • 6/23/2017

Prior to the dermatology visit, we had a follow-up with pediatric neuro. They used a woods lamp and noticed some pigmentation variation. We shared that we were seeing dermo the following Monday. The pedi neuro told us to ask the doctor to look at. We shared the info with doctor who I felt dismissed our concerns. I tried to explain what was happening with my daughter, however I felt the doctor totally dismissed my concerns.

  • 6/23/2017

*Dr. Amy McMichael is honestly and truly the best doctor/dermatologist I have every seen. *Dr. McMichael actually explained to me my skin conditions and why I have these skin conditions. *Dr. McMichael was very thorough in explaining my condition. *Dr. McMichael actually spend a good amount of time explaining to me my skin conditions and the honest solutions. *Dr. McMichael also gave me tips I could do personally myself to help with my conditions. From what over the counter soaps and lotions to use for skin like mines. *Dr. McMichael also had excellent bedside manner. I do not know *Dr. McMichael personally, so this is a honest unbiased review from the heart.

  • 6/21/2017

I respect and appreciate my doctor.

  • 6/20/2017

I was very impressed with Dr. McMichael and her knowledge of my condition. She wanted to take a more aggressive approach to my problem and I was very impressed with that because I had felt this was needed from my provider in Knoxville. She was kind, patient, and told me immediately the course of action she wanted to take. She is an excellent physician and I would recommend her to anyone. My only concern was not being able to get in to seeing her for a year, however, I do understand she is an excellent doctor and has many patients coming from various areas of the country. Very happy with my appointment with Dr. McMichael.

  • 6/13/2017

Only good things to say & write about this Dr. she was extremely friendly w/ a beautiful attitude! Truly glad I met *Dr. McMichael. My pain is so much better!

  • 4/20/2017

I travel almost 2 hours to see Dr. McMichael. She is the best dermatologist I have ever encountered. Always professional and seems to genuinely care about my health.

  • 2/27/2017
