Chick-fil-A Restaurants to Feature July ‘Brewing for Brenner’ Campaign

June 27, 2011

All Chick-fil-A restaurants in Forsyth County will begin a “Brewing for Brenner” campaign on July 1 to raise funds for Brenner Children’s Hospital, part of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

For every gallon of iced tea sold by the participating restaurants in the month of July, $1 will be donated to the Family-Centered Care Program at Brenner.

The participating Chick-fil-A restaurant locations are:

  • Thruway Shopping Center
  • Peacehaven Road
  • Hanes Mall (food court)
  • Hanes Mall Boulevard
  • Peters Creek Parkway
  • Kernersville
  • Stanleyville.

Brenner’s Family-Centered Care Program includes a range of services to assist families while their children are being treated in the hospital, including special pediatric critical care navigators trained to help families access resources that the hospital offers. The program also provides guidance on such family needs as lodging, transportation and support groups.
