Sixth Annual Event Scheduled for March 3-4
WMAG-FM, 99.5, will broadcast a two-day radiothon to benefit Brenner Children’s Hospital at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center on Thursday and Friday, March 3 and 4.
On-air personalities Lora Songster and Rod Davis will lead the event, which will be broadcast from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The funds raised will be used to advance patient care at Brenner. The event will showcase the impact that Brenner has had on the lives of children and their families in the Triad and throughout the region, and honor the individuals and groups whose hard work throughout the year serves to improve the lives of all children.
This will be WMAG’s sixth radiothon on behalf of Brenner, with the previous five having raised a combined total of nearly $400,000.
