At Atrium Health Levine Children's in the Triad region of North Carolina, our pediatric gastroenterology team is the region's leader for the preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of pediatric digestive and liver disorders. Our board-certified clinical experts and other health care professionals care for and treat children of all ages, from newborn to adult.

We work closely with our patients and their families to develop individualized and customized treatment plans and are always available to answer any questions parents and other family members may have. When surgery is required, we look for minimally invasive procedures that require less time in surgery and have the fastest recovery time. Our pediatric gastroenterologists work closely with our patients' pediatricians and other multidisciplinary experts to provide streamlined care throughout the treatment and healing process.

Our team is nationally recognized as a leading center for the treatment of celiac disease in children. We also treat motility disorders and, in our Brenner FIT program, help children struggling with obesity and other weight-related issues. Our specialists work alongside multidisciplinary experts at Atrium Health Levine Children's and our patients’ primary pediatricians and other specialists to provide streamlined, comprehensive care.

Gluten and Allergic Digestive Disorders Program

The Gluten and Allergic Digestive Disorders (GLADD) Program is dedicated to not only treating but improving the lives of our patients with celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity and allergic digestive diseases such as eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). Our program provides comprehensive clinical care, education and long-term support for our patients and their families.
