Our Audiology Team

Our pediatric audiologists are specially trained to give your child the best care and treatment available. All of our audiologists have either masters or doctoral degrees in audiology and are licensed by state and national organizations. Advanced expertise is coupled with a compassionate, family-centered patient approach to ensure that each child has a comfortable, pleasant care experience. 

Our audiologists also frequently work with pediatric ENT/head and neck surgeons who specialize in treating hearing disorders.

Director of Audiology

Meagan received her doctorate in audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined Brenner Children's Hospital in 2007. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She also holds certification from the American Board of Audiology. Meagan has special interests in pediatric and adult diagnostic testing and hearing aids, as well as cochlear implants.

Erin received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Louisville in 2015 and joined Wake Forest Baptist Health shortly after graduation. She completed her audiology externship through the LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where she was able to specialize in all aspects of pediatric audiology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Erin currently serves both the pediatric and adult populations, seeing patients for diagnostic hearing evaluations, electrophysiological (ABR) testing, and adult and pediatric hearing aid care.

Janet received her masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has worked as an audiologist at Brenner Children's Hospital since 1985. She is licensed by the North Carolina Hearing Aid Fitters Board, and her areas of interest include adult and pediatric diagnostic hearing tests, adult and pediatric hearing aid dispensing, central auditory processing evaluations, tinnitus evaluations and educational audiology.

Jillian received her doctorate in audiology from the University of Connecticut in 2012 and then joined Brenner Children's Hospital. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is board certified in audiology by the American Board of Audiology. Her current interests include diagnostic testing in the adult and pediatric population, hearing aids and central auditory processing testing.

Elaine graduated in 2012 with her doctorate in audiology from the University of Memphis. She completed her fourth year externship at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Elaine is also licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Her areas of interest within the field include pediatric and adult diagnostic audiometry, hearing aids and vestibular evaluations.
