What is a pediatric rheumatologist?
Pediatric rheumatologists care for rheumatologic and inflammatory disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. Inflammatory disorders can involve joints, soft tissue, blood vessels, and other tissues. Pediatric rheumatolgists are experts in autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions and provide diagnosis, treatment, education, and follow-up for rheumatic diseases. We also evaluate patients with undiagnosed multisystemic diseases.
